Looking to put and upper on a LR-308 lower for shooting predators 500-800 yard shots. Looking to try to keep light as possible 7-8.5 lbs would be ideal. I have the stripped lower, lpk and geissele 2 stage trigger. If i could finish for around another $1k that would be nice. Any suggestions?

Aero M5E1 and then add whatever barrel you want
Larue Tactical rifle kit with his "PredatAR" whatever barrel (it is 16-18" and lightweight profile) for 1200 bucks then sell his trigger and LPK on ARFCOM for 150bucks etc
If you can find a PWS mk214 upper it checks all those boxes, it's piston too if you like that sort of thing (mine was great)
