Rifle Scopes Preferred Leupold?

That is a pretty wide question however; the M1 has 1/4 MOA elevation and windage where as the M3 has 1 MOA elevation and 1/2 MOA windage. I have both but I prefer the 1/4 MOA better because of the fine tuning aspect. At 1000 yards the 1 MOA scope moves 10 inches per click. That is a huge move.

Everybody has their individual preferences, but I think you'll find that between those two options, most people will select the M1 because of the finer adjustments for both windage and elevation. The M1 has 1/4MOA for both...the M3 has significantly larger elevation adjustments of 1MOA and windage adjustments of 1/2MOA. The M1 also has 15MOA more elevation adjustment than the M3 (90MOA vs. 75MOA).

The m3 is a sniper scope it gets to 1k plus in one turn.The NF scopes for the Navy use a 1 moa adjustment.Its great for minute of man and field use.If you want to punch paper the M1 is better for that.
