Suppressors Preferred suppressor for the TRG 22

Re: Preferred suppressor for the TRG 22

Any good .308 suppressor will be fine, the type of rifle doesn't make much difference. The 300-SD and other titanium cans will be nice on the long barrel to keep it from feeling very nose-heavy. I have an AAC Cyclone en route for mine. Make sure the mfr of the can you choose can do metric threads for the M18x1 Sako barrel.

I've been pleased with my Tiger Shark. I know David can do different threads so I imagine he can get you what you need.

On a side note, if you have the 26" barrel you might want to consider cutting it down if you intend to run the suppressor most of the time. It makes for a handier package.

Re: Preferred suppressor for the TRG 22

My suggestion is to cut the barrel. We cut all of our TRG's down to 22". None lost any accuracy, in fact most guys say they shoot better.

Everyone of here with an opinion will cite their favorite suppressor but if you go with the major manufactures and do some research you will come to a conclusion.

It is also nice to visit a store that has several of them in stock that you can pick from. If you start the ordering process from scratch you better be very patient. They have to build it, transfer it to your dealer through the ATF before you ever get an opportunity to start your process.

Patience for waiting on a suppressor is an art.
