Prefit for impact 737?

Do you guys know of anyone who makes a solid prefit for an impact 737 in .308 that isn't $750+?

Trying to save a little for my optic if I can.

Appreciate any recommendations

I vote Travis at ts customs! I’ve bought the last 7-8 barrels from him. Great guys and among the best for quality. Very fast too

Straight Jacket has some in-house barrels they could probably get you below that number.

You get what you pay for.....hard to not go with barrels made under the same roof as your action..buy a guy who owns part of impact.

Don't cheap out on a barrel... I have run several different 308s on Impacts and as long as you use a quality blank done a good smith you should be happy.

PVA Osprey’s are a solid choice and available as prefit for Impact. I didn’t understand the difference between a good barrel (factory Tikka, Seekins, MPA) and a great barrel until I bought a prefit 6CM from PVA. No weird flyers with factory ammo, just one shot after another into the same ragged hole. I’ve never had that experience before, and I don’t do anything different with that rifle than I do with others. Maybe I got lucky, but based on what I have read I believe it ‘s the barrel. When you get group after group all the same, you realize there’s a difference. The consistency of a great barrel is eye opening when you first experience it.

They’re not made or chambered under the same roof or even in the same town, but yeah. On the other hand there are
also a LOT of Altus-chambered barrels out there and not many complaints I’ve ever heard about them, and not typically cheap either.
