Rifle Scopes Premier Gen 2 XR crazy for a 3-15? pics please?

I am considering a Premier Light Tactical 3-15, and initially was planning on a Gen 2 xr reticle. Upon researching, several threads suggest that the Gen 2 XR is too fine for a 3-15 power and may be better suited for a 5-25x. Many people seem to recommend the Gen 2 mil dot reticle for the 3-15 range.

Does anyone have some through the scope shots or links to pics of the Gen 2 XR reticle as seen at 3x, 10x, and 15x for comparison?

The Gen2 XR reticle has different sub tensions between the 3-15 and the 5-25. When people say "It's better to use the XR reticle on the 5-25", I believe people don't realize it's actually a different reticle.

Having said that... I'm fine with the thickness... i actually like it... and I just don't see myself needing to use the mil markers at below 5-6x anyhow.

I have it in my 3.5-15 and am pretty enamored with it. It works very well for my needs.

I own both a 3-15 Gen 2 MD and 3-15 Gen 2 XR. I wish I had 2 Gen 2 MD's.

I rarely shoot with my scope at its highest magnification. This being the case, the Gen 2 MD is a fuck ton easier to see and make holds at mid and low magnification. With the Gen 2 XR the scope has to be a max magnification or damm close to it.

Gen2 MD is much better in the 3.5-15, had both.

I was worried about this issue a few months ago and went with the XR. It is very good at 10-15x, as you can see from David's pics (nice btw, wish I knew how to take such good photos thru scope), kinda tough below. One thing I will say: "I love my Premier "

I love my PH 5-25's with the gen 2 xr and wanted the same glass in a lighter scope. I looked at their LT and couldn't make myself drop the cash on a scope that was limited to 15x and 12 mills of adjustment. I picked up a March 3-24 FFP and I'm happy with my decision. The reticle is too fine at 3 and too thick at 24 but it really shines between 8 and 18. It's still usable at 23 but not ideal. For me, I wanted more mag in a small package and that's what I got. The glass is excellent as well. It's worth looking at. I didn't get illumination in the March and never use it on my PH's.
