Rifle Scopes Premier Light 3-15 All kinds of junk in it

I just bought a new Premier light tactical in 3-15x.
It is full of 'junk' inside of the tube.
It has a thin fiber like string about 1/4" long, a hair, and various back specs.
Most of them settled to the bottom of the scope after about 20 rounds, but they pop up every once in a while. I hear this happens to all scopes by all makers, but this one really has a bunch of trash in it. Looks like it was assembled in a tornado.
I'm sure Premier will take care of it, so back it goes

On another note, the glass is great and I really like the scope.
I have a PH 3-15 and it has been a great scope.
I really like the light tactical. It's the perfect weight for a hunting rig or if you are wanting to save some weight.
Great scopes.

A simple glance through the scope before it was shipped to the vender would have been nice.

Hi Guys,
I am the QC guy for Premier and as I explained to Zach during a PM I just sent to him this problem does occur in ALL scopes from time to time. There is a thin film of grease on the inside of the main tube and that is supposed to catch small debris such as this.
I am sorry it happened and I have given him all the info to ship the scope back to me and I will turn it around the same day.

To some scopes more than others. QC issues are nothing new with the new Premier Reticles. Post Mr. Thomas, specifically Dick Thomas, when things were very, very different on scopes of far, far less expense. Used to be if you wanted a Leupold to be really "right" it made a detour to Mr. Thomas or it was sourced directly from him. He is missed greatly...

You certainly have you "Pissy Pants" days don't you. This is a "Forum" and this is the "optics" section. The guy can post whatever the fuck he wants. The reason I'm even in the optics section right now is to search for info on this very same scope.

FWIW, I had a Swaro rangefinder that came with a little piece of hairlike fiber stuck inside the objective lens. I'm surprised it happened with a Premier and it sounds like it's getting taken care of. I used to have a Heritage and now have the LT, which is a better fit for me and my rifle. Neither had or has had any issues.

So I don't think the OP was wrong to mention it, although personally I would have just handled the whole thing with the vendor/manufacturer and only complained publicly if they screwed me over. As for Matt's comments, I'm kind of curious where you get all the data regarding QC issues.

I recently received a S&B 5-25 MSR reticle with a spec inside the lens, it's small and only visible @ 8x and under so I'm really not going to worry about it. If I lived in the US and could ship it easily I might act differently but in all honesty it's a very minor issue.

My Premier LT is flawless, as is my USO, these issues occur with all manufactures and in all cases seem to be isolated incidents.

Thanks to Premier for responding to quick and offering to fix the issue asap.
Great customer service and they stand behind their products. Scope went back today for replacement.
