So how much is too much?

That really isn't my question, as I've got that under control, more like...

How many guys shoot a load repeatedly that performs but shows a little pressure? Like a very slight ejector mark or primer flattening?

I know there are different levels, and brass life could be sacrificed depending on the level, but I guess I am curious how many guys are fine with a little, or won't shoot a load that shows any at all...

Thanks in advance.

I am ok with flattened primers as that seems to happen pretty quickly. I did have some factory Hornady 140 ELD's that were flattening really bad and showing severe extractor marks.

I shot them anyway as I was using a Savage lol.

Thanks for posting. I've had the same question. I just finished working up a load for a 6.5x284 and the best load shows slight ejector marks. I figured I needed to back off half a grain but I'm curious what some of the more experienced guys have to say.

You don’t get pressure signs until you’re already over pressure. Back off and save your fingers and eyes.
