Definitely, not. I can tell by the longer Illuminator Bezel which contains a filter. And FYI, removing the filter will not turn it into a FP unit. The diode used in the Illuminator portion is still pretty weak sauce even after the filter has been removed.

Yeah, all that will probably be available by then is baseball bats if the powers that be get there way.

Great starter unit, especially if you are not used to laser safety. Much better to learn with one of these than blind yourself with a FP unit.

You can also slave a Luna ELIR 3 to it and pretty much outperform even the FP unit. I've done that a bunch.
