Price negotiable or make offer

I know when items are offered for sale on the Hide that bidding is not permitted.


If I give an asking price may I also say make reasonalble offer or price negotiable?

Yea, you can take lower offers, that's not 'bidding', so you won't be penalized for that.

Offering an item up for sale with an asking price and then stating "or best reasonable offer" or "reasonable offers will be considered...lowballing @#$%tards will be ignored" isn't against the rules.

I have done this many times in the past and always had good results.

Don't forget the most troublesome of them all: I can buy it from Bud's (item number *&^*) for $143.00 less than you're asking, would you come down to XXXX? Don't ever do this, many-I mean many will jump you for screwing up another's ad. I've never done it, but have been tempted. I always figured if I can buy it cheaper, NIB, than used, there was no sense in me even trying to negotiate.
