I usually shoot factory Hornaday. I recently called my guy and he had trouble getting it. I asked him if he could get Prime (6.5 CM). He does not stock it. I could not find one retailer in Long Island that stocks it. None of his suppliers stock it. I would like to try a few boxes to see how it shoots. Any help?

I have looked but many places will not ship to NY because of the Safe Act. Our governor bans guns because they look scary. Ammo has to ship to an FFL which makes three boxes of ammo cost about $135. Leftist thinking strikes again.

If they could keep the cost near their 6.5 Creedmoor offering, seems like it would be pretty smart to offer 6.5x47L because of the lack of reasonably priced factory offerings and it’s popularity with match shooters..... they would have sort of a corner on the market.

I already did, and 338NM as well. I was surprised they weren't already listed as options they're considering, since both those cartridges are in the corporate family (RUAG, Norma) of their supplier.

I know I would switch from 6.5CM to 6.5x47L if they offered it at or around the same price.
