After reading how a dirty pp can mess with your accuracy, I have decided to buy a cleaner for my brass. Are 270wsm,300rum and 308 all the same size. Which cal. sizes are small and which are large. Also, what are some good ones to purchase. I am not a high volume loader.

The three cartridges you named are large rifle size. Small rifle would be cases like 222, 223, 204 Ruger, ect. I like Sinclair's line of case prep tools. Expensive, but high quality. Same for K&M tools.

Yep sinclairs has the best ones.. they are stainless steel... there are only two sizes. Large rifle and small rifle as far as rifles go... until you gotta do a big big caliber like a 50bmg... primer pocket uniforming does wonders!!!!

The best one I've tried although rather expensive is the tool from 21st century shooting.
Stainless steel with a really sharp carbide cutter, uniforms both small and Large flash holes, and is depth adjustable.
Works great, have one setup for the 284, one for the 308 and one i use for the rest of my calibers.
Don't own any other uniformers anymore
Primer Pocket Uniformer

The ones from K&M is also of high quality.

Sinclairs uniformer i have not tried.
But owned K&M, Lyman, RCBS and Redding uniformers.

I use the Sinclair Large rifle pocket uniformer. It does a good job, but it is set at one depth. I chuck it in a variable speed drill set in a vice at the lowest speed. It works quickly on the pockets.

I just watched the video of the 21st Century pocket uniformer. For the money, It does give you both large and small uniformers and has the ability to easily and accurately change the depth of the cut. It looks like a good tool and worth the money. The Sinclair uniformers are $30.00 each. So, the 21st Century tool is not out of line since you get both large and small cutters.
