Primer ?

I have worked up a new load that my rifle absolutely loves but I'm concerned about the primers. The brass looks excelent and is without any pressure signs. My question is does the primer on the right look dangerous? The one on the left is from a lighter (normal) load the one on the right is from my new load. It seems to have a larger halo around the firing pin hole. Is this OK? Thanks. Steve.

apple and orange primers.
They can be soft or harder. If you don't have signs of pressure I would run it if accuracy is good. When you popped the primer out was there any signs of gas escaping from around the primer?

Thanks for the help/info TM. I will take a look at it. My rifle loves this load but I don't want her to blow up in my face.

SS It looks like your bolt could stand to have bushing job around the firing pin.
