Saturday matinee, Celia, me, and the two older Grandkiddos. Liked it.

The story is believable, the pace is quick, the effects are effective without being obtrusive. The Brit accent is a tad whaaa? But the acting is impeccable.

When the computer game was still V1.0, Celia and I put a bunch of effort into. Later we drifted. The movie has enough linkage to be very understandable and familiar, and the story gives the whole thing a new set of legs.

I will definitely buy this one when the DVD comes out.

The screen story is credited to Jordan Mechner who also created the game scenarios. There are a lot of acrobatic feats in the movie; beyond that, I really can't say.

If Greg liked this movie, it must be tinged with some sort of communist plot twists or leftist leanings of some sort somewhere

It was a good one.... I liked the mentionings about TAXES..

Definately one to buy on DVD when it comes out.

Something about not paying taxes because the government is corrupt... oh Disney... so silly. An otherwise well put-together movie though. I enjoyed the action and the plot line and story flow was excellent! Lots of twists and everything.

Not the best "Prince of Persia" type crazy jumps and absurd hurdling like in the retro-game back in the day, but there were some definite similarities. I think the special effects could have been more epic, but they were awesome nonetheless. I also think that there could have been more freerunning type stuff but they fit what they could in the 2 hours they had, with a great plot line.

Bottom line, awesome movie, family friendly (for the most part... it's Disney... but 21st century Disney), and great action scenes with a good plot line.

Sorry to go political, but I will not support Jake f**kface. No matter how good the movie. He's the idiot that bad mouthed Marines after he made "Jarhead"
F him.
