Thats the phone call I got before leaving the house for some training at the range this weekend. It all had to be fired this weekend, so I needed to bring a shotgun.

I have been looking for a reason to buy a nice shotgun, and 600 rounds of free ammo was a good enough excuse. I went to the store, bought a Benelli M4, and headed to the range. I managed to put a few hundred rounds down range with it and its incredible! Even after a couple hundred rounds, not one bruise on my shoulder. WOW what a fun weekend!

BTW.. In case anyone is wondering, it is possible to shoot a clay pigeon with 00B

Just make sure you got a big range because 00 buck travels a lot farther than #8 birdshot.

[shiteating_grin] This is absolutely brilliant. We need to find someone with loose, unpurposed 12 gauge buckshot to prime the enabling pump. If somebody gives me a shitload of decent buckshot, I promise to run off and buy a Benelli forthwith as well. [/shiteating_grin]

lol, we went through 1000rds of .40 this weekend. The client couldn't believe he was so sore and his trigger finger could hurt that much the next day.

the m4 is gas operated...i know the feeling...my P12 went into the shop the other day for about 2 months giving me an excuse to pick up a kimber i was wanting

Yes, its gas operated. Some of the guys shooting Remington's, Mossbergs etc, were feeling the pain and getting beat up. I took some other ammo with me and to be honest, the Walmart 12 gauge universal bird shot load felt about the same as the 00B.

Any particular reason you bought the m4 rather than any other gas operated gun? I want an m4 real bad, just wondering.

Get tacticool dude, with an M1014 collapsible stock and full length mag tube.
