I am currently having an issue with some once fired brass that I bought and am looking for suggestions...I recently bought a new savage 338 lapua and picked up some brass that was stamped lapua 04 I was told that it was authentic lapua brand brass and had no reason to doubt it, but when I started to work up loads for the rifle I had immediate problems with the brass as it stuck in the chamber after firing...with minumim loads...now I also recieved some brass in the lot that was head stamped 338 lapua mag with the lapua insignia and I have had no issues with it cycling in this rifle. I don't assume it is a powder issue as my primers look good and I am off max loads in the hodgon manual by quite a bit...I thought it may be a head space issue so i set it back to saami specs and still had the same trouble...
looking for any info that maybe helpfull here?? I full length sized both cases with the same dies and have experianced a little tension as i close the bolt with both headstamps, but figured that might just be an individual rifle thing...
