Rifle Scopes Problem with a Nightforce

I recently purchased a NXS 8-32 and the illumation switch seems to be frozen. I havent had a chance to talk to customer support yet just wondering if anyone else has had or heard of anyone having this issue.
 
I would keep trying to pull it out without breaking it. Unscrew the battery cover, turn the parallax knob back and forth, work it a while. Keep trying.
 
I'd be certain that it is not already in its outermost position, in other words, it inadvertenly came from the factory/distributor with the switch illuminated. In this case the battery would have drained and there would be no illumination. Try to push it "in" and at the same time feel and listen for a distinct "click".

I had problems with my 3.5 - 15 in which the switch worked loose and it would occasionally pop out and illuminate the scope.

Nightforce has excellent customer service. They will take care of this so don't fret over it.

Nothing seems to have a effect on it I've tried removing the battery also.

Also I'm sure it is in the off position due to the plastic peace that forces the battery off of the contact point.

I will give customer service a call tomorrow.
