I think i found the reason, actually when i zero my scope i can’t push it down directly aligned , it’s just like something is blocking and i don’t want to push it hard….if i move it slightly it goes down and that’s where i start already not aligned 😔😔

Reread the manual. I’m just going off memory, but after you reset zero (turrets unlocked), if the turrets don’t smoothly lock, loosen set screws, lock turret, tighten set screws.

Edit to add photo of manual

IMHO your time would've been much better spent on dialogue with ZCO and other members here, than on making that video. But perhaps I'm wrong.

LoL,

For what those are running, I would hope that they swing by you house to pick it up for service.

Joking aside, shit happens even in 100k vehicles, I am sure the ZCO guys will get you taken care of.

So........you made a video after Secant essentially read the instructions to you and Gebhardt/ZCO PM'd you.

Did you try following the instructions and/or responding to Gebhardt ? Hard to have much sympathy for you if you didn't do either/both of those things. Looks like a very simple problem to fix all on your own. If not, it's simple to send it back to ZCO. That is, if you'd make the effort to communicate with them about your problem.

I really don’t know why you people are so upset that I made a video!
And yes i did followed the instructions and yes i responded to the PM…

So you did this and it didn't work?

First, in the unlocked position, loosen the turret set screws then rotate the turret clockwise and align the zero mark with the reference line on the scope body. Second, lightly tighten the turret screws then push the turret inward to the locked position to ensure proper spline engagement. Third, loosen then retighten the turret set screws to 5-inch pounds. Your turret will now have proper spline engagement as well as alignment with the reference mark".

I for one am not "upset". However, we see this time and again. It gets old after a while. I don't think it's even been a week since a prior incident like this and yours. Simple problem (usually) user error (sometimes not).

So, you followed the instructions and you responded to the PM. What were the results ? Is the problem fixed ? Was it user error ? Was it a legitimate product problem ? Are you shipping it back to ZCO ?

The issue that I have (and I suspect that others do as well) is that you come onto a public forum and post something like this and it casts aspersions on the quality of the product. In the vast majority of cases no such problem exists, it's due to user error. It's unfair to the manufacturer, regardless of brand.

Rather than post (then make a video and post that too), just pick up the phone and call the manufacturer and ask for help. The folks at ZCO are good people, they won't bite you.

Ok let me get this clear,
I did post it here because i did believe it was only me doing something wrong and i thought other people would have the same issue and that i can get the right instructions without bothering the ZCO guys who i believe are very talented people.

Now , i did followed the instructions end yet my problem is still here and I’m calling ZCO tomorrow to get more insights.

To make it short :

loosen the turret set screws then rotate the turret clockwise and align the zero mark with the reference line on the scope body. Second, lightly tighten the turret screws then push the turret inward to the locked position…at this step i can’t push it down aligned with the marking, it’s blocked halfway and i need to slightly move it left or right to push it all down.

Cheers

It seems we're getting somewhere... Cool.

You're fine. People have bad days then get on the 'hide and find something pointless to get mad about. You'd think after the first post they'd get it out of their system. But sometimes they need to double down. And before I get quoted and pissed on too, I've done the same shit and am talking from experience. I've found it's best to write the shitty post, read it, then delete it and move on never opening that thread again. Something about it triggers you/me, and only you/I can control that.

Every. Singe. Post. Someone will come in and shit on. Every. Single. Time.

Nowhere in the OP's posts do I get the impression that he was shitting on ZCO. He was just trying to spit ball with everyone trying to figure out his issue he was having. Keep in mind, today is Sunday. ZCo aint answering the phone today but luckily, Gebhardt is here to help. If it were a simple fix on his part, that's what he was looking for. If I had a question ab a piece of gear that I was having trouble figuring out, I'd think that SH would be a good resource to get answers. If not, then I'd call the manufacturer. Stop getting in your feelings about dumb shit and jumping on someone who has a question. If the OP came in here, dick swinging, talking shit about a company as good as zco, yea, I'd get it. He did no such thing. Nobody is going to look at this thread and NOT buy a zco because of it. If u have some suggestions on a fix for his problem, offer it up. Sounds like he's talked to zco and has tried the appropriate suggestions. Whether he fixes it or zco fixes it, it'll get fixed and he'll love the scope.

Am i doing something wrong?

As far as I can tell, yeah....you absolutely just came looking for other's experience and never threw shade at ZCO or claimed it was a defective product.

Good luck, I'm sure they will get you squared away.

Cheers

They’re assholes dont worry about them. They think they own the forum so when someone post something that they deem “unnecessary” they immediately attack you, I guess it’s not unnecessary enough for them not to reply with their snappy remarks like a bunch of high school girls.

The guys is just asking for community support man is that not what this is about? if you think it’s “old” then don’t reply. I posted something similar and got similar responses like yours and guess what, it was a defective turret and ZCO took care of it in 2 days. No one is trying to talk shit about ZCO, some people don’t drop 4K on optics regularly so when something seems off they want to hear from the community before going through the process of potentially sending your new scope back.

My responses to you in your "similar posting" simply stated that I thought there may be something wrong with your scope, none of mine had exhibited the same problem.
