Just curious, when you buy loaded ammo, do you resize it to be sure it's in spec? What you did is make the neck of the case smaller which contributed to the shaving problem. Also, did you chamfer the mouths of the cases? If not, that made things even worse.
Another problem with nickel cases is that they'll dull cutters quickly when you trim them. I use nickel cases at times but when trimming time comes, I use a trim die and file. </div></div>
No, I don't resize the brass on loaded ammo. I'm not sure what you mean??
The nickle brass shaved the jacket when seating the bullet so I resized the necks on subsequent pieces to be sure it was in spec. It still shaved the jacket.
