Problems converting FN PBR w/ DBM to floor plate..

I have an FN PBR XP action that I want to convert from DBM to standard 1 piece floor plate. I picked up a factory FN PBR floor plate from a member here, and it bolts up to my DBM model perfectly. I put the whole rifle together today, and the magazine will not hold rounds at all.

Do any of you guys have a pic of the underside of either a Win 70 action, or a factory PBR/SPR floor plate action minus the bottom metal?

Will the mag. follower move, can you explain a little more in detail

The follower moves up and down fine, it's not binding up. With one round in, the round action doesn't seem to have enough of a lip to hold it in the magazine. I can get it to hold multiple rounds, but the last round just pops out. Hope that makes a little more sense.

check the box to see if one side has a little lip that helps hold the bullet in the mag well, check and see by chance if its upside down

Did you by chance get amag box for a 300wsm?

I tried it both ways. I am going to call FN Monday. I THINK I remember one of the FN guys I talked to before saying they ground something down on the DBM actions to make the DBM fit, but I'm not completely sure. There are no lips on the box itself.

IF it has my DBM in it, the action gets a little machining at the front. However the Floorplate box will still go back and should work as designed. The feed lips are built into the action. If they machined them out, then ur stuck. They should not have done that, it is not required for making my stuff work

You must have the wrong parts, or something in the stock is interfering. I did this swap on my rifle and it's been working perfectly for nearly a year now.

All you should need is the proper magazine box, spring, follower, and bottom metal. From what I've heard, the stock inletting is also different, but I have not ever looked at the DBM stock closely.

I figured it out, I do have the wrong parts. The floorplate I got is from a 300wsm, and I have a 308. So I definitely have the wrong follower, and may need to replace the box as well.
