problems while installing TRG ATB bipod bracket

I need some help guys.

I'm trying to install the ATB bracket onto my trg, but I have run into an issue. After removing the barreled action, you are asked to remove the two screws that are holding the harness fastening rail onto the aluminum frame. I literally cannot get these screws to budge and I don't feel like stripping the screws.

I've already tried shooting some wd40 but I still haven't had any luck. Any suggestions?

A small pencil torch on the heads will soften the locktite and allow removal.

If you don't want to torch direct, try laying a hot clothing iron laid against the frame for about 15-20 minutes. This also works great on the OEM picatinny rail if you have to remove it.

went with the blow torch method and it worked.

what genius at sako came up with the idea of putting loctite on these screws...

so it doesn't back out when you're being a counter sniper
