Have a little bastard APA muzzle brake. Have issues with keeping it tight on my 6.5 CM. I’ve installed how APA instructs to do so. After about 10 rounds or so, it becomes loose, and starts throwing off my groups. Anyone else have issues, or know how to fix?

I’ve had a few and currently have two of the new G3 little bastard brakes. Both work perfectly, best brakes on the market.
I index it and tighten it by hand. Shoot 5-10 rounds and then tighten again by hand and never had one come loose.
You can always tighten with a wrench.
So you’re having to re-tighten every 10 Rounds, or you just did that sequence once, and it’s stayed tight since?

Use a healthy amount of lock tight and torque really good and let it set with out firing for 24 hours and it should be fine. If that doesnt work contact apa.

The only APA brake (gen 2 LB) also had issues staying tight. It would walk loose all the time.

I had to bring a wrench with me every time I shot it, and occasionally torque it up with a wrench.

Got my first LB g3 and wanted to test out their "hand tight" thing. It stayed put for the 40rds I shot out of it.

If I was going to use extra something instead of lock tight on things that get removed I would use vibra tite VC3.

Put blue loctite on both sets of threads and just go hand tight. It won't come loose if your muzzle threads are cut correctly. That's how I've been shooting them for years.
