I ordered a super sniper 10x about a year and a half ago and the sun shade it came with never fit, the threads didn't match the scopes. Now I ordered one last week, got it in today and what do you know this one doesn't fit correctly either! Has anyone else experienced this problem? Should I just send them both back?

I bought the SS 10x about 5 yrs ago and just ordered the sunshade last week. I went to put it on tonight and what do you know...the same problem as you! It just won't stay on...The sunshade threads are smaller in diameter than the threads in the objective bell.
I though it was because my SS was an older model but maybe not...
Looks like a call is in order.

There are some out there with the wrong threads. We have an adapter that will fix it.

Well I called about 30 min ago and talked to a lady in customer service. I told her my problem and when I bought the scope and she said it needed a special adapter and that they would send me one. She didn't even ask for my address she asked for my name and before I could finish it she said it.I thought that was strange but I guess my phone number gave me away.

yeah hell why glue it duct tape works better

I tried rubberbands and paperclips to hold it in place but that just didn't cut it, it didn't look tacti-cool enough for this armchair commando...
I will give the duct tape a try...
