How many rounds to "season" the barrel to a new ammo?

Always clean between switches?

My Savage takes 20-25 rounds before groups "settle in"

Notice group #1 (bottom center) is low. A few clicks on the scope, and it is "there" but you can see the groups shrink noticeably from 1 to 2, a little less from 2 to 3, and even less from 3 to 4. After that, it is me or the ammo (this was shot with Rem SSHPs). Forget what prior ammo was but it was likely either CCI or Wolf

My bench gun takes 2 rounds
1st is always high left then the second drops right in and I always let a couple more go to make sure.
