Gunsmithing Proof barrel bored off center

No big deal. It doesn't have to be perfect to be accurate and repeatable. It just has to do the exact same thing (barrel whip\harmonics) every time.

So long as the muzzle threads are concentric to the bore I'd run it till it's dead.

Build with confidence, they're good to go. I've had 7 Proof carbon barrels and they all shoot amazing. Pretty much every rifle I have built will wear a Proof on it.

Yes, proof has there ducks in a row. I have been fortunate enough to live in the same area as proof and defiance machine. They have both been a huge blessing to my business. There products are second to none and they have some really top notch folks working there!

I’m definitely not hating on proof. No reason to. I’ve just heard (mainly in the past) That some stuff slipped through QC
