Proof research 14.5” steel barrel

My buddy has a brand new proof research steel 14.5” barrel he said he’d let go for $350. Does that seem like a good price? Seems about on par with other mid tier barrels. Haven’t been able to find much information on how they shoot. Any of y’all have one? Likes/Dislikes?

It’s a mid length gas system. Hoping the weight won’t make the rifle to unbalanced with a can on it

Yeah I figured the barrel would be a good one. I’ve got a carbon barrel on a bolt gun and it’s a hammer.

This build would be kind of a do all rifle. Ring some steel at the range and maybe do a little hunting with.
