Where is a good place to get a PR CF in 223 for the Origin? I'm going this route for a hunting build. I'm ok with waiting; don't need it right away.

If you are military, Proof will give you a military discount if you call direct I’ve heard. You can also get it from Proof through ExpertVoice at their military discount price, which is what I did. FYI mine took 10 weeks.

These guys had the best savage prefit pricing i had found so assuming would be about the same for origin give them a call or shoot them an email

Was posting pricing about the Savage pre-fits. You're correct - blanks look to be about $730 for CF blanks for Evolved.

I would not buy a savage prefit from proof off the shelf in a 223 for the simple
Reason it will have a 1/2-28 muzzle. Order it from a smith or special order it with a 5/8-24 muzzle threads.

Mine was an early one without a threaded muzzle. For its intended purpose mine won’t wear anything on the muzzle.
