So, let me start this off by saying I'm not attempting to shit on anyone. I'm just curious.

Sniper's Hide shared Proof Research's 300wm barrel. If it's not there anymore.

Regardless of the negativity surrounding heat dissipation, I'm possibly still interested in buying one.

So, I have a few questions that the website didn't/hasn't answered...

1) Heat dissipation aside, what's the average barrel life of one of these?

2) I use CF almost daily, am very familiar with the material...I have a feeling, judging by the 300wm, alone, it will eventually unravel. Has anyone experienced this at all?

3) Everyone claims they're shooters but, what happens when like any other barrel, you get one that's just not shooting as guaranteed?

4) What is that guarantee on these? If any?

Hmmmm... I would also be interested in any signs of unraveling and the guarantee. I think the dissipation and weight make them attractive, but not at a cost to durability or performance. Particularly not at the price they command.
