Same, same. I think around 800yrds and beyond, more height would be appreciated...and over ~1,200, I found myself having to kick the rear bag out, as I couldn't get the muzzle high enough and had to look into the leg extensions.A Thunderbeast bipod is what I bought when I was first starting out. I loved the thing and the only qualm I had is that there were times when I wanted a little more height.
Ended up selling that and getting a double pull when I found out they are prototyping a version that is a little taller. As soon as that comes out I’ll be purchasing the taller version and I have little doubt it will be my main bipod again.
Love it for 800 and in, but I think I would have gone in another direction had I of known...add 4-5 more detents/'clicks' of the stock legs and it would be money.
