I need a little feedback form everyone. So I'm looking at getting into the Production class of the PRS next year. I know I'm going to go with a 6.5 CM and I know which scope I plan on using. The question I have is which rifle to buy. According to the rules the rifle can not be modified and its MSRP cant be above 2000.00. My mind is fried with all the different options. Right now the front runner is a MPA BA PCR Competition Rifle at 1999.99. I put the link below. I would appreciate everyone's advice/feedback and recommendations.

if you really want to go Production. PVA hancock or the MPA option you presented (custom action versus R700, stock like chassis versus MPA wizz bang)

honestly though, production is a joke. 12 people ALL YEAR have shot production. in what 25 matches? yeah maybe you get a top 5 spot at a prize table or go to the finale only shooting 1 match, but you're not likely to compete against anyone

I've been looking at production as well. The Savage/Ramage setup seems especially interesting, the idea of a trainer and competition rifle in one is appealing. The Mcree rifles/kits look like an amazing value. A complete rifle is a good starting point as well for the simple reason that if you start with an action, add a barrel, then put it in a chasis or stock, if it doesn't shoot you may have a smith, an action maker and the stock guy all saying it's someone else's fault.

Wait, I can compete against no one and get to the prize table? Those are some odds I like.
Nothing like an unfair advantage.
