Greetings,

I am trying to narrow down my scope selections. This will mainly be a plinking gun, ranges that allow .50 near me are 100-500 yards. (1k if I buy a membership but its like a 3 hour drive. So paying for a membership may not be worth it.)

Regardless, Which one of these optics would you all recommend.

The Razor HD 5-20x50 MRAD FFP I like the nicer glass, greater range of adjustability, and more premium look of this one.
or
The Viper PSTII Gen II 5-25x50 EBR-2C MRAD FFP, I like the cheaper price and the increased max zoom.

I don't like buying junk. But I also don't want to spend the bank on what will likely become a safe queen. Look forward to your input.

I can get the Leupold MK5 5-25 for not much more. Perhaps I should step it up a notch. I suppose if it just lives in the safe, I could always switch the optics

Somehow .50 BMG and plinking don't seem to go hand in hand.
If you're going to spend 4 bucks a trigger pull, you might want to spend enough to make sure the scope can handle it.
The PST series isn't noted for robustness.
