Gunsmithing PTG DBM variations

Does anybody have any experience with any PTG DBM with the "T" mag release lever? I am looking to see what it looks like installed.

Also, the tactical stealth M5 appears to have a larger trigger guard. I have had to mill a RCH off the bottom of my trigger shoes when using both Surgeon or PTG DBMs and was hoping the tactical's larger guard might be the ticket.

Any experience would be appreciated.

If I remember correctly, I think I needed to take some material off of my Tubb T7T trigger shoe so it wouldn't interfere with the trigger guard.

I just swapped a couple PT&G releases for the 'T' shaped ones. Will snap a comparison pic this evening...

Thats what I have as well. It looks like the Tactical version has a little more room for the trigger.

Thanks knockemdown! So it hangs just as far as the regular lever, but is wider at the bottom? I was hoping for a poor mans surgeon!

Anybody see one of the "Tactical" m5 stealths in the wild?

Pretty much, yes. I was hoping for the same! Looks like they coulda tucked it up under there a bit tighter.

P.S. my buddy has a PTG DBM with the mag release fit into the trigger guard, similar to APA's DBM. That ain't available for Model Seven, so I took a shot on the T latch...
