Hi All,
looking at having drop out mag for my project 6.5x47 Lapua, built on trued Rem 700 S/A, in B&C Light tactical stock (Aliminium bedding block). Just wondering who has used one, how much inleting is needed (says is not a drop in fit),and is it to both, the footprint and mag well cut of the stock? Most of all, is it going to be worth the effort, that I'll have to go through,to get one to New Zealand?

I have to say, I don't doubt the workmanship or product, just want to hear others experience and if they like it or not. Looking at using with AICS 10 round mags.

thanks

270guy,

I ordered one last week from Stocky's stocks for a short action McMillan A5, and it fit like a glove. I can't comment on the inletting, as I bought my stock already inletted by McMillan. I can tell you that the bottom metal is good to go though, and very well made. I'm using an AI 5 rd mag with mine and it functions flawlessly. Hope that helps.
