pulled bullet questions???

ok i loaded a bunch of bullets to do a ladder test for a gun that i just finished breaking in and going to my car i dropped the bullets and they sacttered :'( anyway i obviously have to start over so i pulled the bullets and began from scratch. i had to use a 6mm sinclair puller the plier type and they were 6.5mm bullets but it seemed to work. as i re seated the bullets i noticed my seating dei was scaring the edges of most of these previously pulled bullets but not new ones. so it seams the pulling or clamping of the bullet took them out of round slightly and i confirmed this with a mic.
anyway a few questions
1) can you normally use pulled bullets or reuse them as the case may be?
2) i assume if you can use them as spoilers or break in rounds as they are not lilkely to be as concentric as others?
3) should i toss them all together or anyother thoguth you may have???

I use a Forster or RCBS collet type and haven't had the out of round problem. JMHO

I shoot pulls without issue.

I use a fine tip perm. marker to write on the outside of the brass when I'm doing load testing.

Something like "208-59.5" on a ladder when I'm testing several different 30-06 loads means 208 Amax and 59.5gr charge weight.

I had the same problem you do when I spilled a box of ladder test loads. Now I label them all.

I use the RCBS collet puller and have never had a problem shooting the pulls.

I use the Hornady bullet puller with collets and have shot pulled bullets with no problems. You learn by feel how much force to use to pull so you don't damage the bullet at all.

I shoot pulled bullets if I have some with no problems.

I use a kinetic puller,,hammer. just put a piece of dense foam in the bottom where the bullets falls. bullets come out unharmed.....if you haven't spilled some reloads then you are not reloading enough!

the hammer style pullers f-up the rim/base,every time ive pulled 223 and 308 with no crimp the brass becomes garbage
