I have a PVS 14 with the factory supplied mount paired up with a Eo Tech D1 on the standard mount.

I'm not that happy with the setup and was thinking of trying an Aimpoint micro T1 to get away from seeing the square box of the eotech. It just seems to block the field of view too much.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for matching the mounts up so they are the same height?

I hate to tell you but if you think the Eotech "blocks" view then you need to try the tiny T1. Even very pro Aimpoint users will testify that in front of an Eotech it limits view much more compared to an Eotech.

Wow, I hate to hear that. It just looks like round to round would work better than round to square. I guess I will try to look at a few before I make that decision.

Best set up I have found is this combo, I have a 5x lens also.

Useing an IR laser for aiming You can go 1X no field of view issue,Or 3x and 5x No field of view issue. rsalution is HI.

That would be great, but I thought the PEQ2 was restricted. I'm a lowly US civilian.

A new TM-14 PVS-14 twist mount that perfectly aligns with the T1 in a Larue or DD mount can be seen here. http://www.tnvc.com/items/weapon_moounts_rings/tnvc_tm14.html The real beauty of the mount is you can quickly transition from weapon to head and vice/versa in seconds and for day operations folks can use the Aimpoint 3 x magnifier behind their T1, or Comp Series red dots as the TM-14 uses the standard Aimpoint Twist Base! Hope this helps.

Build a mount for the Rhino that that fits your twist mount and ditch the J arm and You would have the Shizzle!,But you would loose the Off gravity switch pn the 14..

I have a Larue in the pic and a picantiny rail on a home built Rhino mount..works like Butter no extra mount, Not as nice as your goodys,But POBOYs has to see in the dark to..

How about some pics of that mount you made.
