Night Vision PVS-30 Objective Cover

Only posting here because I feel it would get eyes from the right group of people...

Anyone have a black PVS-30 objective cover they’d like to either sell or trade for my tan cover? Just looking to swap them out and I haven’t been able to find a black cover by itself for purchase.

Update to this post. I contacted Knight’s who referred me to nvdevices.com. They got me squared away and we’re super helpful.

FWIW, I've been trying to find someone to make large flip up caps and so far no joy. I could use one for a USO spotter and I'd like flip caps for the PVS30. If you find those, please PM me. I've been talking to Tenebraex and they have a new machine (that I got the very first part off of, an ARD for a USO 1-8x!) and there's some hope this new machine may be able to one-off these. Whatever it is, it can custom make parts compatible with all their other shit, which is really nice.

Another thing you can do if interested is get an ARD. I got one for about $60 on ebay. It came tan, a little spray paint fixed that. I put it on everytime I take it out (I'd leave it on if it wasn't for that damn bikini cover, hence the need for a flip cap!). The lens on a PVS30 is perfect and I'm not taking any chances on fucking it up so the ARD serves as more of a protective shield in this case when it's in use.

I contacted aadland a while back to see if he could make a cover and initially he was going to see if he could make one, but after my initial response he went communication silent and I could never get him to respond to my emails.

Nope, tried them too.

Though a couple places said "check back later" so I don't know what that means exactly. They can't make 'em now, but may be able to later? I know Tenebraex has a new machine that can custom one off almost anything including ARDs but I don't know if it can do these yet.

If anyone finds a line on flip up caps that'll fit a PVS30, PM me please! I'm down on a group buy or whatever. I'd like an obj. cap for a USO spotter too, it's a bit smaller but still a large cap.

I got one of the larger Vortex flip up front covers to fit the one I had. I ran a tie wrap around the rubber skirt that slid over the objective lens to make sure it didn’t walk off. It worked great and was a cheap fix.

Old thread bump, but I wanted to share that if you just need a generic and cheap cover (non flip-up), you can purchase one of these to keep the objective end closed: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/125300-REG/Kaiser_206975_75mm_Push_On_Lens_Cap.html

I purchased one myself and can confirm that it has a nice snug fit on a PVS-30. It probably won't hold up with daily use but it works perfectly for extended storage. It's also nice to have as an inexpensive backup in case the factory rubber one breaks on you.
