Night Vision PVS27 rubber seal for light intrusion to scope?

Hi guys,

Just picked up my first PVS27. Was previously using a friend'y CNVD-LR at night and it came with a rubber seal (we jokingly called it the condom) which you can pull over the scope to prevent light from spilling out or in.

Does anyone know of an accessory to do the same thing with the PVS27? Or is the a home brew option people are using?

Unfortunately I don’t.
It came with some swag that I got during a personal visit at Knights. They also come with the PVS30 refurbs.

yep.. used the Neoprene Beer Cozy's for years on clip-on's between Obj. and Ocular . . black is a common Cozi color also .
cheep price and + get your favorite Beer Brew or B-ball team print on the Cozy .

edit add:
Scrim or fabric backed laminated to Neoprene is used . it tough stretchy stuff same as Cozy's or wet suit .
There Is several wrap-around velcro closed, Cozy sold out there also . They have no bottom panel, incase you don't want to cut a hole on one side.

Seriously, take a beer cozy and glue velcro to it. It's all it is.

Thanks gents! I don't actually have any beer cozies, and refuse to go to Dicks, so ordered some from Amazon in black with velcro and glue. Should have it tomorrow to put on the pvs27 for use at night.

Used beer cozies for years w/ my LWTS, they work great.

buy or make diy is always nicer if you don't mind doing the work like the beer cozie idea that is pretty slick tips his hat and his beer .
