I'm lurking & learning from PWS MK112
I'd like to get my first AR chambered in .300 Blackout that I'll shoot with can probably 95% of the time.
Anyways my question is regarding MK1 Series and your experience with their products.

I have three of their uppers, a 16", 10.5", and 12". All in 223 (wylde chamber). They are great uppers. I usually run them with a can and they are great due to the adjustable gas block. I have been eying a 300blk upper from them. I don't know why they stopped making the 9". 12" seems a little long for a 300blk for me at least. The mod1 changes improved an already great upper. They have great customer service. My experience is because I directly ordered my uppers from them due them offering a nice military discount. I don't believe they sell directly to individuals anymore though. they are quality made and I am sure you will love it once you get one.

I have recently picked up there MK114 Mod 1 and really like it. It is light weight for a piston system and felt recoil is very good. I haven't focused on how accurate I can shoot yet but has been dead on for what I have shot it for. I have an acog on it for now. It has ate everything Ive put through it so far and not 1 malfunction yet either. I believe there piston system is a great design and will be very reliable and maintenance free. I have 2 Hogans also (1 in 223 and 1 in 308). I feel like the Hogans are a little more of a precision ar and the pws feels much lighter and easier to manipulate in those type situations. So far I haven't found any weakness/downfalls yet to the pws!! It is quickly becoming my favorite rifle!
