PWS free float barrel now?

I see PWS sells their new rifles with free floated barrel set ups. My non-free floated PWS is an absolute tack driver and damn near keeps up with my bolt gun in regards to accuracy. The previous design just plain worked so I am a bit surprised they made changes.

Does anyone have the low down on this?

Mod1 uppers free float? They sure are. I have a mk110, mk112, and mk116 all mod 1's. They are sweet uppers. I have a 1-6 on my 16" and it is very accurate. The shorter ones are just as accurate too. I am wanting to get a mk216 one of these days.
