PWS MK114 Questions

Hey got a few questions hope you guys can help.
1- Can I get an adjustable gas block for a MK114?
2- Who else makes the Long Stroke piston system?
3- Does the MK114 come with a 2 stage trigger?
4- Has anyone fired suppressed with the MK114?
5- Can I upgrade another brand like LWRC, DD, SIG with a long stroke piston?
6- Any complaints besides weight for the MK114?
7- Will the MK114 cycle cheap 5.56/.223? ( for emergency situations )
Any help is appreciated and if you have any ideas/suggestions for me feel free to post! THANKS.

I have a Mk114 and like the rifle quite well.

1. Highly doubt it. PWS system is proprietary and just for their uppers. They claim their system does not need adjustable gas for suppressed work.
3. It comes with a totally standard milspec single stage trigger.
4. Search right here on the Hide. There are accounts of running this rifle suppressed quite successfully.
5. Without going fully custom (and a pretty large engineering effort) the only way to do this would be with a full PWS upper.
6. The Mk114 is very much on the light side of the spectrum of available 14" AR-15 style rifles.

I have a Mk110. I have shot it supressed and it ran great. Only problem was with carbon build up in the lower receiver and the magazine bodies. I think that is true across the spectrum when running a suppressor. I have sinc switched to a Wolf XP spring and a 8.25 oz buffer. I have not shot the suppessor yet with this setup. I am hoping it keeps the bolt locked a little longer to reduce chamber blow back.

The PWS will fire cheap ammo right up until you did what I did. But when I get my stamp It will be ran with a can all the time and that helps with cycling.

Does anyone know when the new MK114s will be available? I bought one in Dec in 7.62x39 and absolutely love it! Now I want one in 5.56 but I would rather have the new upper with free floated barrel and adjustable gas block.

I just talked to PWS the other day to order a mk110 and mk112 upper. They said that they switched over to the new design in November or December. So if you order through them anytime after December, you will be getting the mod 1 uppers/rifles. They told me that I will see my uppers sometime around March-May.

They offer mil/leo discounts also which is one reason I ordered directly through them.
