Rifle Scopes Q. For NIKON gurus

Please enlighten me. Some say that Monarch line is better than Buckmaster. Anyone knows what real-world differences are?
What is the main reason Buckmasters are cheaper? Same company. Same warranty...

I've never been behind a buckmaster or standard monarch, just own a monarch gold and an older tactical. But I would assume the difference would be the coatings, how many lens are coated and the glass may be of slightly better quality or held to a higher standard.

Monarchs are better. Much better glass in the Monarchs. It really shows up in low light conditions between the two.

No different than comparing a VXII vs a VXIII.
