quality iron sights?

Just picked up an 18" AR with a WOA 1/7 Twist barrel.


I have a scope I'll be swapping from my bolt gun occasionally but I bought this mainly to get some practice shooting iron sights and positional stuff.

What I'm looking for is a dedicated set of iron sights that will allow me to shoot out to 300-500 yards.

Has a flat top upper and a JP Tube up front.

If you want the best of both worlds, try to find someone who makes ones like the SCAR's.

I've been lurking here awhile and decided to register just to answer your question...

I got these sights from JP, and am very happy with them. You could also get a block to mount the front sight at the muzzle.

Try and find a KAC 200-600m BUIS. Deals can be had for under $150 if you look around.

How do you pick the sights and then zero?
Seriously,front sight ht over the bore and all the rest?
