Rifle Scopes Quality rings without the bulk?

Who makes a quality set of rings that don't include the bulky nut on the side? I'd like to find something that looks generally like a Leupold Mark 4 ring, but has a cleaner mounting system. I'm familiar with the seekins, and I know they are good - but while the mounting system is trim, the ring itself is shapeless and bulky. What else is out there? I've been using Larue mounts, but this optic is just going to get mounted and left alone - so no need for big nuts or throw levers on the side.

Ring size is 34mm and height should be approximately 1.5 inches to centerline or slightly less. Application is a semi-auto 7.62 and a 1-6 optic.

nothing other than the seekins in the big names. they are beautiful pieces of equipment. dont know why they dont seem to fit your bill.

chain,.. you pose a good question. It will be interesting to see what others post up for options for you.

But, as ff stated, the Seekins are just as good or better than any.. it is unfortunate for you that you don't care for the look.

I run alot of Seekins, never been dissatisfied yet.

Look at the new M10 A.R.C. rings!! Theodore is the man, and his rings are frickin amazing!! They are not bulky at all, extremely slim and trim, mount like a brick shit house, more and more. I could go on and on, but I didn't like the previous generation rings because the top of the ring would hang up on everything, but the new M10 design is the cats ass.

Ask SSSamurai, he watched me knock my rifle over at the Findlay Cup this weekend, then I went 6 for 6 at 500y. They are priced extremely competitively also, right in line with Seekins, B.O. and such. I would definetly buy them again, in fact I am for my girlfriends rifle.

Ken Farrel rings dont have the big nut on them. Farrel makes some nice rings.

I had titanium 34mm rings custom made for me by Murphy Precision. Just about the same height you are looking for too without the big nut on the side. They are so light and strong I was amazed.

Give Cameron Murphy a call. He has exactly what you are looking for.

Agreed. American Rifle Company rings are the only rings that I will buy these days. Worth every cent you pay for them.
