I'm about to get a custom build done with my current 30-06 action. My question is about my bolt. I noticed that it has some small damage on the bolt lugs. It looks like someone over-tightened the guard screws and possibly the base screws (or put them into the action when the rifle was not in the stock) and left small indentations on the bolt lug surface. Can anyone tell me if they are significant enough to make the bolt a poor candidate for my custom built, or am I being paranoid? You can see the indentations in the two close-ups.
