Gunsmithing Question about AICS 1.5 short action stock

I'm thinking about getting an AICS 1.5 stock but have a couple of questions for anyone that knows...

1) How wide is the barrel channel?
2) Does the opening for the recoil lug fit larger lugs like the Badger Ordnance lug?

Barrel channel is freakin huge and it will need to be milled to accept a Badger Recoil Lug

+1 to what Outlaw said.

Unless your rifle has a Dana 60 axle for a barrel, it'll fit. Likewise on the lug, anything larger than an OEM Remington 700 and you'll have to do a bit of machining.

Also if you are going to use an aftermarket trigger like Jewell you will have to trim the opening.

Barrel channel will take a 1.25" barrel and still free float.

I have yet to see a commonly use barrel contour that will not fit in the barrel channel. It is more than adequate.
