This is probably a totally newbie question, but can someone explain what the purpose of the lip on the front of the AI factory mags is? I’ve circled the part I’m talking about in the picture (AI mags next to a Badger Ordnance M5 mag)
I just picked up an AICS AX chassis for a build and noticed that extra bit on the front. Is this lip a feature to help the mag seat better in the chassis?
