Gunsmithing Question About Barrel Length

I am buying a remy 700 .308 with 20 inch. oh and at some point get the action trued

i want to go with a bartlien barrel preferably
23inches. what would be the best all around twist
for it? i will be shooting 300-900. hopefully match
grade ammo and some excellent handloads.

10 or 11 twist. Either will handle any bullet you will shoot through a .308.
