do any of their stuff go on sale. I would like a stock and bolt knob. I want a SS 5-20 scope and a whiskey 3 stock and my rifle will be done. Also does anyone know if the Remington 5r with the 20 inch barrel is a long action or short? some guys I work with say its long because its milspec.

It's going to be tough to get a "deal" persay. The chassis itself isn't priced too badly, like most things in this sport/hobby the buy once, cry once method tends to be the best way to go. But as stated above, 223 or 308 will be on a short action and 300wm will be based on a long action.
