question about my new AICS stock

I just took delivery of my AICS and noticed the block of metal at the end that looks like a bipod adapter. I don't see this attachment on pictures of the stocks on the website for AI or the pics posted here. What is the difference between mine and the others or is mine a newer version that hasn't been cataloged yet.

Thanks. I just hung up with AI and he told me it was a for a NV mount so my questions are all answered. It looks like the link you posted reinforces what they told me.

You can also install an atlas on it.

The only bad part is that you can't remove it and retain the use of the spigot mount AND they don't have the parts available to add the NV rail.
