Night Vision Question about NVG Knights mount for Accuracy International rifles

I picked this up in a trade in hopes it will fit an AIAE in .308

My question is, this came off his AIAW in 338 and was wondering if it will fit my future 308 once it gets here. What about fitting a AICS?

Worst case scenario I can sell it and buy the right one.
