I am looking at target scopes again for f class...Close range 250 to 500 yards...what I am considering is a weaver or a nikon...My question is which is more better fine cross hairs with a dot or just fine cross hairs only.....Or would you suggest something different in a scope..My limit is 600 bucks at most...Thanks..

Either would suffice, though for F-class I would lean towards the fine crosshair.
It is easier to quarter a round target with crosshairs than to center a dot inside a circle

Grammar lesson aside, I would go with a fine crosshair for F-class. I do prefer a small target dot for benchrest shooting though.
